Tailored teaching

I offer individually-tailored tutoring for children in Years 3-7 who need a boost in their confidence or consolidation in all areas of English, maths or those preparing for exams. Whether your child is struggling to keep up in a crowded classroom or is not being challenged enough, I am here to help.

Lost learning

It's been a tough time for schoolchildren in recent years who have lost out on classroom teaching during the pandemic. One-to-one tutoring is the best way to help pupils catch up. I work closely with the child and parents to provide them with what they need to make up lost ground and get ahead.

Helping children fit in

Does your child have SEN needs and their school just doesn’t have the resources to provide targeted teaching? I can give them the 1:1 support they need and teach them strategies to cope in a mainstream classroom. Having worked with children with ADHD, dyslexia, autism and other specialist needs, I am confident in my ability to give your child the helping hand they need.

Home classroom or online help

With my own ‘mini-classroom’ at home, I can give your child the quiet space they need. Alternatively, if circumstances change as they have done previously, I can offer lessons online to prevent disruption to your child’s education.

I have been a teacher for more than 25 years, much of that time in Reigate and Surrey. Schools I've worked at include Meath Green Junior and Sandcross Primary, where I taught Years 3 to 6. More recently I taught part-time at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School and Earlswood Junior, while I got my tutoring business up and running. I've been offering one-to-one tutoring for ten years, and love being able to give children the boost they need to succeed. I have a degree in French and German, and love helping children with their language skills. I am DBS-checked, and the well-being and security of your child is central to me.
